On Managing Balance as a Patient Partner (or human) during COVID

My daughter-in-law sent me this helpful blog post on how to manage through this crisis from someone who has gone through major crises in her life.
[https://www.chronicle.com/article/Why-You-Should-Ignore-All-That/248366 ](http://Alyse sent this to me and it is worth the read. https//www.chronicle.com/article/Why-You-Should-Ignore-All-That/248366 Cheers! Alies)
I found it helpful since I was wondering why I couldn't concentrate, why I couldn't throw myself into projects that a few short weeks ago seemed vital, why I need to sleep a lot, why I can't seem to discipline myself to do the rehab exercises for my broken ankle....
This article was reassuring that there are phases to managing through a crisis not unlike the phases in dealing with the lose of a loved one. We are facing the loss of our familiar normal so of course we are reeling.
We are resilient and we will go on and even thrive but it is helpful to know this moves in stages. Alies
