The Canadian De-prescribing Network will be presenting a webinar next week. It is part of a webinar series which aims to equip the public with information and tools for managing medications safely. The next webinar is called Promoting Medication Safety: Inspiring Initiatives from Nova Scotia and will be held next Wednesday, August 15th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EDT.

Dr. David Gardner, Professor with Dalhousie University's Department of Psychiatry, will be presenting on sleeping pills and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi). (Side note: I've had the chance to hear him speak a few times - he's an awesome speaker!) A panel discussion with Bill Berryman, President of the Canadian Association of Retired Teachers, Dr. Andrea Murphy, Associate Professor at the Dalhousie University College of Pharmacy, and Dr. David Garder will follow. Tools for getting a good night's sleep without sleeping pills and awareness-raising strategies will be on the agenda!

Please feel free to share the webinar invitation with your colleagues, friends and networks. The link to share is the following : https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/promoting-medication-safety-inspiring-initiatives-from-nova-scotia-registration-47930984866

          Hi Amy

Do you know if they will record this presentation? I will be returning from Winnipeg that day.
