      Here is a digest of interesting articles on chronic pain in kids and teens.

      Solutions for Kids In Pain is happy to work in close partnership with Children's Healthcare Canada and to be highlighted in their impact report. Please take a few moments to read through the 2019 Impact Report and share with your networks.

      SKIP's co-director Dr. Christine Chambers, SickKids Hub co-Lead, Dr. Fiona Campbell and Patient Partner, Isabel Jordan were featured in the article: "Chronic pain in kids is more common than you think." Through an integration of lived experience and research describes the problem of chronic pain in childhood, how to know if your child is experiencing pain, and what you can do to help make it better.

      Dr. Katie Birnie, SKIP's Assistant Scientific Director wrote an article "Fear of Needles: 5 simple ways to ease vaccination pain for your child (and yourself)" for The Conversation Canada.

      The Canadian Pain Task Force has an online list of resources to help Canadians in pain as part of their care plan during COVID-19. This list is updated with resources as they become available.

      About Kids Health released [an article](https://www.aboutkidshealth.ca/Article?contentid=3875&language=English&utm_source=Hootsuite&utm_medium=hootsuite&utm_campaign=AKH Social Media) with advice for managing pain during the COVID-19 pandemic. For children and teens with chronic pain, the increase in stress and a decrease in physical activity may cause their pain symptoms to worsen.
