Global Opportunity: To advance healthy aging through digital health innovation - June 2021

IDIH – International Digital Health Cooperation for Preventive, Integrated, Independent and Inclusive Living (https://idih-global.eu), is a project funded by the European Union, with the aim to bring together the EU and key strategic countries (Canada, USA, Japan, China, and South Korea) to promote and increase international collaboration and to advance active and healthy aging through digital health innovation. More specifically, the objectives of IDIH are to support the definition common priorities to enhance strategic international cooperation in digital health for active and healthy ageing in line with policy orientations, provide specific contributions to the international dialogue in digital health for active and healthy aging, facilitate the exchange between stakeholders from the EU and the Strategic Partner Countries in digital health for healthy aging, and foster international collaboration for digital solutions for health care benefitting the society and industry.

IDIH is holding an event the first week of June, IDIH Week 2021 and we would like to invite PAN members to take part. It is a four day online event dedicated to researchers, innovators, care providers, patients and the public who are interested in digital health for active and healthy aging (AHA).

IDIH Week will take place online between June 1st and June 4th, 2021 with 3 sessions which will be dedicated to Information, Networking, & Matchmaking, and Co-creation among all the key-stakeholders of digital solutions for AHA in Europe, as well as in Canada, China, Japan, South Korea, and USA:

Info Day | June 1st 2021
A chance to explore the funding opportunities for international cooperation within and with these countries, directly from the national Funding Agencies in the field.

Partnering Days | June 2nd and 3rd 2021
An occasion to build partnerships, having B2Bs and pitches to promote project ideas on the base of the upcoming Call for proposals.

Innovation Day | June 4th 2021
An expert-driven space for discussion in which the IDIH Forum of Experts will discuss the state of the art of Research and Innovation in Digital Health for AHA, outlining its trends and future perspectives, and pointing out possible paths for addressing policies in this field with representatives of the R&I communities of Europe, China, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and USA.
