This is about unlocking Primary Care Datasets. That means that, the EMRs (electronic medical record systems) in primary care - containing PHI (personal health information) - would be accessed, and the data pooled for study (called = secondary use).

I‘ve attended CPCRC sessions before, but this time when I tried to register, I got a pending approval response, and I’ve heard nothing since. Clearly they’re filtering their audience this time, I wonder why?

Yeah, me too. I believe that this happened the last time as well. The link usually shows up right before the session.

Maybe they're collecting and sorting the submitted questions?
          Or looking for something else?

There was a delay in receiving the links for the QueensU sessions, but it didn't explicitly say it was pending approval. I think they were just slow processing.

But just in case they're weeding certain people out, I've registered again under my student email address, coz inquiring minds want to know 😉

              🤣
What a way to circumvent the system! Good job!

              Based on our previous discussion:

... research project to run a broad sample of clinical notes through the (bias) tool and see how much bias it picks up and at what severity...

It would be interesting to keep this in mind during the presentation. I wonder if this has crossed their minds?
