For anyone interested in building skills and knowledge around research e.g. data management, software use, project management, using ORCiD or Google scholar etc.

The Canadian Certificate in Digital Humanities is the joint effort of many partner organizations and individuals across Canada. Drawing on major Canadian universities offering non-curricular digital humanities workshops, it offers a broad range of (mostly free) workshops ranging from 1-hour webinar-style sessions, through to 20+ hour intensives - with a mix of in-person, online and asynchronous opportunities.

There's a dedicated page that lists Upcoming Workshops and each individual workshop links back to the host institution for registration. You do not need to be enrolled in any of the universities and you can register for any individual workshops without needing to commit to the certificate.

Regardless of whether you're interested in the certificate itself, the workshops offer a wealth of opportunities to dive deeper into skills and knowledge that may interest you. While not all of the topics will be relevant for health research, the vast majority of the tools are the same, so it's worth a look.
