Join Minea Mäder, Scientific Collaborator at the Network for Transdisciplinary Research (td-net), a competence center of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences, for an inspiring webinar on the foundations of transdisciplinary research

With an academic background in Biology, Social Anthropology, and Sustainable Development, Ms. Mäder works to strengthen transdisciplinary research capacities among students, researchers, practitioners, and funders. Her current work focuses on energy transitions, transformative sustainability science, and social innovation.

This webinar introduces the basics of transdisciplinary research—an approach that brings together diverse forms of expertise, including community and experiential knowledge, to tackle complex real-world problems. Participants will learn td-net’s framework of three types of knowledge (systems, target, and transformation) and will explore a short exercise applying this tool to a practical research challenge, making the framework clear, concrete, and ready to use.

      Event Details:
      Date: January 28, 2026
      Time: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM (EST)
Exclusive Meet & Greet for PASSERELLE Fellows: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM (EST)
The webinar is open to all learners!

Instant transcription and simultaneous written translation will be available for those who prefer to follow the session in French
