Each term includes a clear definition and a relevant application to medicine, helping to bridge the gap between technical AI concepts and their real-world impact in healthcare. Use this glossary to improve interdisciplinary communication, enhance your understanding of AI’s role in medicine, and ensure clarity in discussions, research, and education. In the future, our goal is to create a multi-modal living glossary that will be regularly updated with new terms and phrases as the field of AI health evolves.
