      Tickets are selling fast for Health Data for All of Us: A Public Dialogue on AI in Health, taking place Tuesday, April 29 online and in person at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel! Explore our exciting lineup of speakers and sessions which will delve into the rapidly evolving nature of artificial intelligence in health.

      This one-day, hybrid event will kick off with a keynote panel discussion of the challenges and opportunities related to AI in health, an interactive session with plenty of opportunities for audience participation featuring:

      • Dr. Amol Verma, Clinician-Scientist at St. Michael’s Hospital,
      • Dr. Marta Maslej, Staff Scientist with the Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and
      • Charlotte Munro, member of HDRN Canada’s Public Advisory Council
      • Guided by moderator Michael Harvey, BC’s Information and Privacy Commissioner.

      Other speakers include:

      • Alvina Nadeem and Dr. Alexandra Greenhill in a dialogue on patient and clinician perspectives on the role of AI in health.
      • Julia Wiercigroch and Parsa Balalaie on Upstream Lab's work examining patient engagement and inclusive AI development.
      • Alexander Bernier on regulatory change and the Canadian health data commons in relation to AI in health.
      • Skylee-Storm Hogan-Stacey, Julie McIntosh and Savannah LaBelle on the work of the First Nations Information Governance Centre Data Sovereignty Research Collaborative and the impacts of AI use in First Nations-specific health care.
