Stumbled across this Lived Experience in Policymaking Guide on a UK government website that I think is worth sharing and at just 4 pages it’s not a huge investment of time.

Despite its source, it’s a fairly plainly worded guide to the principles and practical considerations of partnering with lived experience. And while aimed at a policymaking context, the content is easily and equally applicable to healthcare research and quality improvement.
