There’s only one more week to participate in the consultation process for the National Caregiving Strategy! By completing our online form, you are helping to ensure that the strategy reflects the needs of caregivers and care providers across Canada.

      Deadline: October 11

If you haven’t had the chance yet, please take a few minutes to share your ideas.

      Complete the form

A heartfelt thank you to all those who have provided input through our consultation forms and webinars or have encouraged others in their community to share their voices. We have heard from so many of you since we launched our consultations in April.

      What we have heard:

“We need to establish an ongoing caregiver benefit.”

“Some caregivers leave their jobs or work for minimum wage so pay lower taxes. I recommend additional funding models for those groups, especially women who still provide the majority of unpaid caregiving.”

“We need access to affordable respite with trained staff.”

We wouldn’t be able to do this without you and we are so grateful for your support.

Let’s make Canada the greatest place in the world to give and receive care.
