Patient scholarships for eHealth. Competition will be coming up

I'm involved as a member of the eHealth2018 organizing committee - I read abstracts, rated them and worked on the program. Now I have submitted questions to the committee for the patient scholarships, and will be working on the program for the "Patient Engagement" symposium the day before.

There are two of us patients doing this, and two more will get scholarships, so they will be #patientsincluded.

My issue is that this conference will attract 1500 people, so that is .0026% patients.

I'm not sure I call this a good start, but it is, at least, something.

It's in Vancouver May 27 to 30 this year. The only other time I was there a lot of people passed their badges around if they could not attend each day.

I also suggested an additional pass for someone in BC, seeing as they would save on travel and accomodation.
