Words matter- Patient Partnership replaces Patient Engagement

How times are changing. The CIHR Institute of Genetics recently announced a change in their terminology and updated their website - a shift from Patient Engagement to Patient Partnership.
Kudos to patient partner Isabel Jordan and the PP team for championing this and equally Jillian Banfield and researchers who listened and made it happen . I am thrilled to see this change and hope it inspires others to consider the same…
