      Have you heard of EMPaCT?

EMPaCT (Equity Mobilizing Partnerships in Community) is an innovative, award-winning model. Co-designed by members of the community, it is a model of diverse and inclusive patient engagement.

      EMPaCT strives to

      • Highlight community needs and priorities,
      • Identify key areas for action on health equity,
      • Provide Health Equity Analytical Lens on
        projects,
      • Engage in consultations with project
implementors who may not have other
        avenues to engage diversely,
      • Lead research and advocacy projects.

The EMPaCT team will show you

      • how different communities might be
        impacted by your project
      • what unintended outcomes may occur from
        your project
      • how equity in health can be better addressed
        for the communities involved
