The Patient Will See You Now ... The Future of HC???

Good day to all,
I have been introduced to a book I believe is going to be important in our future. It was written in 2015 by the Author Eric Topol.
So much is transitioning so quickly. Our elders are moving thru the system in a manner never before experienced.
Will we embrace it? Do we want a Medical Record that will follow us longitudinally, thru all of the professions? We can dream but it will take a lot of input and support with the generation that built is all. (Health Care) Hip replacements were not done on people over 80 twenty years ago. In the next twenty years more of us will have both replaced. What will be left for our children, our grandchildren?

Passed it on to lots of professionals in my health authority and no one has ever seen it.
I have included an app on the go being tested in our HA. Good example of tech in HC.
Early design work on this innovation has caught the attention of other organizations and Island Health was approached by University Health Network to participate as a Canadian site in an international trial of a patient medication self-management “app” (first of a kind approved by Health Canada). The incorporation of this app is expected to occur after the initial January real-world trial.
