I participated in a survey. The University of Toronto ran it and is having a follow up focus group. They said I could share so here it is. I have no idea what the gift card will be for or how much. Annette

Thank you for your participation in our survey conducted in late 2020 to early 2021 to learn about your experiences with virtual healthcare (i.e., telephone and/or video appointments). Your input has helped develop recommendations on virtual care within primary care which was shared with policymakers and leaders in Ontario. I am emailing regarding an opportunity to share your experience with virtual health care in a focus group or facilitated discussion with other patients and caregivers.

The focus group will be conducted on an online video platform and will take approximately 60-to-90-minutes. Discussion topics include your experiences with telephone and/or video appointments and suggestions of how to improve virtual care within primary care for the future. In recognition of your time, you will receive an honorarium gift card. You will also receive the consent information for the focus group so that you fully understand the study’s procedures, risks, rights and confidentiality, and other important information. Please note that you have the right to withdraw from the study at any point without consequence.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out this short survey so that we can get to know you a bit more and know when you are available: https://bit.ly/VCPEfocusgroup. Feel free to share this with your friends, families, and networks who have experience with virtual care within primary care settings.

Should you have any questions, please let me know.

      Thank you!
