Help please-Need information

Has anyone worked on a project in which the PFAC drafts the patient engagement plan? Especially a large project?

I'm the only one who has had P/E training and I am being asked to draft a plan for further refinement by researchers. I am a bit confused. Thank you.

Hi JoAnne, My advisor experience is not in research, more quality improvement, but this sounds like something that should be done in partnership between members of the PFAC and the researchers. Seems to me that it is important to understand the purpose and goals of the engagement before you can plan the methods, recruitment and evaluation of the engagement. Co-designing the engagement plan will help to identify more opportunities to meaningfully engage.

Hopefully, some of our PAN members with more experience advising on research projects can share some wisdom.

I agree with Angela, this should be co-designed with the researchers. I have some tools I am working on which I will send you off line and which you can give me feedback on. They may help have the conversation with researchers. Alies
