Diversity and Inclusion in healthcare

Saw this article in Scientific American and although this is from the US, the Toronto Star recently reported on the lack of diversity among medical faculty across this country.

When the clinicians do not reflect the demographics of the people they serve, we lose something in the quality of care and the ability to relate to the person giving care.
