      Here is the link: Loblaws AI Medical Chatbot
      What do you see the issues for Loblaws gathering our information as we use their tool?

      My fear is that they will use our data to sell stuff back to us, perhaps sell our data for research getting money for what we give away for free, and perhaps use it in other ways.

            @Alies-Maybee More and more, moving in this AI direction can be intimidating, challenging, and scary.

            I believe patients need and want to have personal conversations with their doctors — something which AI cannot replace. And then, I look at where we are now in the world of AI voices, devices, and contraptions. This only leaves me asking, if companies of whatever industry are still not able to develop and adapt customer care call services to respond to customers’ needs (which is what we believe they have been designed and developed to do), how exactly can AI support a patient? Asking to speak to a real person is becoming more frustrating each day and often leads to no answers and disconnection — or is this what AI is supposed to do?

              Something else that I forgot to add:

              This is NOT healthcare; this is Loblaws making money.

              Another thought - it would appear that these chatbots are collecting data in the background.

              Data = the new gold.

                @George-James

                Insightful perspectives George.

                Patients do want to have conversations with their clinicians. And yet, for those that do not (and can not) have access to care, this chatbot appears to provide a solution.

                Now, my question is, how much harm will this thing create and is there anyone measuring this harm?
