From the Patient Engagement Open Forum (PEOF) community. This is a Brussels based but global group. PAN has been involved with the group generally though not in this specific initiative.

After years of dialogue within the PEOF community, our collective insights have been reflected in a new JMIR Perspectives paper:

Digital Health Technologies: Learnings and Perspectives From a Stakeholder Expectations Matrix Study

Feb 5 4 to 5:30 CET so check the time zone you are in so you don't miss this!

On February 5th, from 4 - 5:30 PM CET, we're bringing the authors and the community to take this work forward. Rather than summarizing the paper, the session will focus on the "unresolved tensions" it identifies, including the gap between technical data goals and the reality of a patient’s life.

      Register now

      What’s on the table:

      • A New Taxonomy: new way of classifying digital health based on its impact on the patient: Information, Care, or Support.
      • Breaking the Silos: How to build a tailored engagement framework that keep pace up with "tech-speed" without diluting the depth or value of patient input.
      • The New Social Contract: Shifting from patients as "data donors" to partners in governance, including where this matters most.

Why join? Whether you're developing digital health tools under tight timelines, or navigating patient engagement that feels often surface-level, this session is about building a shared language that supports better decisions for everyone involved.

We look forward to an open, honest conversation about what the future of digital health could (and should) look like.

      See you there,
