I'm part of a funded research project called the Evidence Alliance. They will answer questions seeking to find scientific evidence for a gap in knowledge that can help inform health decisions and practices.

Research queries submitted by patients are reviewed once a year and prioritized using the James Lind Alliance (JLA)approach by a panel of patients, healthcare providers, and other knowledge users. Up to three research priorities are selected each year. (If we had a topic or topics we wanted action on I think a few of us could submit similar queries, or PAN could consider doing this)

I'm a bit put out that patients and caregivers get such a low priority, but at the same time it would be amazing if they get many questions from us since their 'stakeholders' include patients, but the knowledge transfer committee does not think of us as a target in my opinion.
