March 2026 Cancer Learning Institute opportunity

The BioCanRx-Cancer Community Partnership has a call for Patient Scholars to participate in their 2026 Learning Institute.

Applications are due by October 31st

Key components of the Learning Institute include:

• Participating in a series of webinars to learn about basic cancer biology and immunotherapy, as well as strategies in science communication

• A “buddy system”, where Patient Scholars are paired with Academic Scholars for the duration of the program

• Attend the in-person Summit for Cancer Immunotherapy in Vancouver, BC (March 29-31, 2026)

• At the Summit, participating in a series of high-energy knowledge exchange sessions as well as a patient-researcher roundtable to engage with about ongoing research projects

• Participating in notetaking for the various plenaries, talks and events at the summit.

• Co-authoring a community dissemination report
