I am involved with EMPaCT, a community table of people with diverse lived experiences focused on health equity.

One of the groups we have worked with is Novartis. They came to us to co-design training in health equity for their team so that the community grants Novartis sponsors could be more effective and impactful. Last year's grants were the first after they completed the training. Take a look! https://www.novartis.com/ca-en/esg/health-equity-initiative.

This year they are looking for applicants whose work could benefit from a grant to support their work in community and for community. If you know of any organizations who might benefit, please pass the link on to them.

@Alies-Maybee Novartis is a developer of Cyclosporine A transplant anti rejection medication that I was on for 26+ years. Cyclosporine was the first single drug able to control rejection.

@Alies-Maybee Would you know where we can read about previous years' grant recipients?

@Joan-Tu I believe if you go on their website (see link above) that they have described the 3 initiatives that were chosen last year. They were not given to the usual big not-for-profits but to real community folks.
