      NIHR UK Webinar:
Introducing the RIPPLES Framework for Patient & Public involvement (PPI) in Rapid Evidence Synthesis

      From their event:

Join us on Wednesday 26 March 2025 at 2pm GMT for a free online engagement session to present our newly developed RIPPLES Framework for patient and public involvement in rapid evidence syntheses.

This event will showcase the outcomes of collaborative efforts, including a survey, scoping review and stakeholder workshops, to create a practical tool researchers can use to help them involve patients and the public in rapid evidence syntheses.

The session is an opportunity to:

      • Learn about how we designed the framework

      • Learn about the principles behind the framework and how it can be used

      • Engage with researchers and PPI contributors who played a pivotal role in its development

      • Ask questions and discuss how the framework can be implemented in rapid evidence syntheses

This event is ideal for researchers, policymakers, clinicians, PPI professionals, and members of the public with an interest in evidence synthesis and inclusive research practices.

@Chris-Johnston we can always learn more on Synthesis, I did take a course a while ago but to me it seems like one of those things that you have to learn about and then have an opportunity to apply what you learned.

@Sandra-Holdsworth Totally agree Sandra, and I think it's always interesting to see whether there are differences between different jurisdictions in how they handle the process, and how they involved patient partners.
