A second webinar on the issue of de-identification presents an interview study with Canadian regulators.

From the Electronic Health Information Laboratory website:

On February 11, we'll present a study undertaken to better understand the perspectives of privacy regulators on anonymization practices and identify challenges to adopting anonymization. The study consisted of qualitative interviews with 93% of the privacy regulators in Canada. We'll present their perspectives and our recommendations to help reduce uncertainty around anonymization and create incentives for using privacy-enhancing technologies.

@Chris-Johnston Thanks for posting this. We all need to learn as much as we can about AI as it is the future of healthcare. We are having lots of discussions about this at the PAN Board with a view to how to help us all become more comfortable with AI and our digital health future.
