<p dir="auto">The Office of the Auditor General of Ontario has released a Special Report on <a href="https://www.auditor.on.ca/en/content/specialreports/specialaudits/en2026/AR_2026_AI_EN.html" rel="nofollow ugc">Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Ontario Government</a>.</p>
<p dir="auto">Initially the focus was to provide an AI framework for Ontario Public Service.  One of the findings was: AI Scribes Systems Were Not Evaluated Adequately.</p>
<p dir="auto">This has implications for across the country as Ontario MD evaluated a series of AI Scribes and created a Vendor of Record (VOR) list.  This list was later adopted by Canada Health Infoway.</p>
